Power and GaN technology
The Tactical Microgrid charger is built on modern Gallium Nitride technology. The charger provides a total output of 45W. When used alone, the key USB-C port can deliver the full 45W, so you can even charge smaller laptops or tablets. Its input voltage range of 100–240V makes it suitable for use on your travels around the world.
Universal connectivity and fast charging
The combination of ports lets you charge a wide range of devices. The charger has one USB-C and one USB-A port. Support for fast-charging standards includes USB Power Delivery 3.0 and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. In addition, the charger is also compatible with Samsung AFC and Huawei FCP protocols. When both ports are used simultaneously, the power is split to a total of 20W.
Advanced PPS standard and compact design
The Tactical Microgrid charger also integrates support for the PPS (Programmable Power Supply) fast-charging standard. With GaN technology, the charger maintains very compact dimensions and a weight of just 100 grams.
Charging speed depends on the total power of a charger (W) and the maximum power that can be used to charge the device that is being charged. If the charger provides more power than the device supports, the power supplied is automatically reduced so that the device is not damaged in any way.
Total power (W) indicates the maximum power that the charger is able to deliver. In the case of a charger with more than one output, this power may be distributed to individual ports, which may have different charging standards (speeds).
