Compact body thanks to GaN technology
The charger is built on modern GaN technology, which uses gallium nitride instead of traditional silicon. This material leads to higher efficiency, less heat generation and, above all, significant miniaturisation. This means the adapter fits into any bag or backpack without taking up much space. The packaging is made entirely from paper.
High performance and flexible charging
The adapter includes two output ports. When used on its own, the main USB-C port provides a full 45W of power, which is enough to power smaller laptops, tablets, and fast-charge phones. The second USB-A port offers up to 18W of power. If you decide to charge two devices simultaneously, the ports operate in a shared power mode with a total output of 20W (5V / 4A).
Wide support for fast-charging standards
The Tactical Microgrid is compatible with a whole range of fast-charging protocols. In addition to common standards like USB Power Delivery 3.0 and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, it also supports Samsung AFC and Huawei FCP. A key feature is its support for PPS (Programmable Power Supply) technology, which dynamically adjusts the voltage and current according to the needs of the connected device. This optimises charging speed while also preserving battery life.
Charging speed depends on the total power of a charger (W) and the maximum power that can be used to charge the device that is being charged. If the charger provides more power than the device supports, the power supplied is automatically reduced so that the device is not damaged in any way.
Total power (W) indicates the maximum power that the charger is able to deliver. In the case of a charger with more than one output, this power may be distributed to individual ports, which may have different charging standards (speeds).
