TCL Q85K uses a multi-channel audio architecture with independent control for each driver, spanning from the main board right down to the speaker units. A combination of a powerful System on Chip (SoC) and eight separate power amplifier chips ensures precise audio signal control, minimising distortion and compression during processing.

Subwoofer with dual-opposing drivers for deep bass

The custom design of the subwoofer features two opposing drivers that cancel out cabinet vibrations and resonance. Energy is distributed in both directions, ensuring rapid transient response and delivering deep, punchy bass. A sealed dual-opposing structure eliminates acoustic interference between the drivers, while a multi-density sound absorption system reduces internal reflections to maintain stable pressure inside the enclosure.

3D audio upmixing

Activate surround mode with a single tap. The audio upmixing algorithm developed by TCL converts a standard two-channel 2.0 input into a 7.1.2 output format, expanding the spatial impression even for content not originally created for multichannel playback.

Sound calibration via the TCL mobile app

Download the TCL mobile app and connect it to your soundbar to access additional audio setup features. The system scans the acoustic profile of the room and adjusts the playback accordingly to match the layout of the space and the position of the listeners.

The design of the soundbar draws inspiration from natural valleys. A floating base helps reduce the transmission of vibrations and unwanted resonance. The solid frame is complemented by an acoustic mesh that protects the internal components from dust. Materials are also used in production. The seamless grille undergoes 13 bending processes, which the manufacturer claims contribute to up to 15% greater strength. A five-sided sound output helps widen the soundstage. The ultra-slim design allows for both stand placement and wall mounting, with the soundbar height being just 6.87cm. When you change the installation method, the system automatically adjusts the sound projection and EQ settings.

Synchronise TV and soundbar with Tutti Choral

When you connect the soundbar to a compatible TCL TV, you can use Tutti Choral technology to play audio from both devices together. The system optimises and distributes audio signals so that the TV and soundbar play in perfect sync.
