The TEAC AD-850 is a multifunctional audio player that combines the best of the analogue and digital worlds. It offers a combination of a cassette deck, CD player, and USB recorder in a single device, making it ideal for fans of classic media as well as those who want to preserve old recordings in digital format. The fun is enhanced by a microphone input with an echo function, ideal for home karaoke.

The TEAC AD-850 CD player offers impressive recording versatility. Not only can it save music from CDs, cassettes and external inputs to USB flash drives in MP3 format, but it can also work in the opposite direction, recording from USB or CD to a classic audio cassette. This allows you to easily convert digital files to analogue format without needing a computer. When saving, folders are automatically created according to the source (CD, LINE, TAPE).

On the front panel of the device, you will find a practical microphone input that can be used on its own or in combination with other audio sources. You can mix the microphone signal with the CD, cassette or MP3 currently playing and then record the entire output. For home karaoke fans, there is also an echo effect with two switchable levels, which will give your voice more presence and a professional feel.

The cassette mechanism of the TEAC AD-850 CD player is two-head and single-direction, which ensures high-quality playback and recording. It supports all common tape types, including chrome and metal (for playback only). A practical function is the ability to control the pitch with a range of ±10%, which you will appreciate when playing older recordings, for example. Of course, there is also a cassette counter and a timer function for precise start of recording or playback.

The TEAC AD-850 CD player supports playback not only of classic audio CDs, but also of CD-R/RW discs and USB flash drives with stored MP3 files. It displays ID3 tags and file names (in the Latin alphabet), so you have an overview of what is currently playing. You will be pleased with the option of shuffle playback, programming of your favourite tracks, and repeating individual tracks or the entire playlist. You can also monitor the elapsed and remaining playback time on the CD, both for individual tracks and the entire disc.

One of the advantages of the TEAC AD-850 CD player is the wide range of timer functions that allow for scheduled recording or playback from various media. Using an external timer (must be purchased separately), you can set the exact time to start recording from a cassette or playing from a CD and USB. In addition, the device offers a synchronised start function that automatically starts playback when recording to USB. All this is complemented by a clear control panel with signal level meters, the ability to adjust the recording level (except for CD to USB), and the included remote control for convenient use.
