There's also an optimised playback engine that allows you to record up to 16 mono or 12 stereo voices, automate parameters, and use a wide range of sound tools, including modern “punch-in” 2.0 effects. Thanks to the built-in speaker and microphone, the EP-133 K. O. II is ideal for creating in the studio or on the go. The synthesiser offers a range of input and output connectors, allowing you to connect external turntables, music players, phones, and more. With 999 slots for storing your own and factory samples, 128MB of internal memory, and the ability to save up to 9 user projects, you'll have plenty of space to experiment.

The EP-133 K. O. II is one of the fastest and most distinctive samplers in its class. Based on the legendary PO-33, it offers more power, more sampling capabilities, a redesigned sequencer, and Punch-in 2.0 effects. Now you can use the multifunctional fader and pressure-sensitive keys while composing, allowing for more precise adjustment of the sound effect intensity. The 2.0 update also adds MIDI Thru functionality, which, along with the advanced MIDI In/Out interface, lets you easily control external hardware or synchronise the synthesiser with up to 16 external devices simultaneously. The EP-133 K. O. II synthesiser lets you go from an idea to a finished track faster than ever before.

The Teenage Engineering EP-133 K. O. II offers wide connectivity options, including a stereo input and output, MIDI In/Out, Sync In/Out, and a USB-C port for connecting to a computer. Use the audio connectors to connect headphones, speakers, players, phones, and other external sound sources. The MIDI In/Out interface allows you to control the EP-133 with an external keyboard or use the synthesiser to trigger sounds on other synthesisers and devices. The Sync In/Out connectors are used to synchronise the tempo (BPM) with drum machines or Pocket Operator series instruments. All physical audio and MIDI connectors are 3.5mm Jack (TRS) type.

Record the sounds around you with the built-in microphone, sample your voice, your favourite synthesisers, or vinyl records from external sources, and use the sequencer to create impressive musical loops and patterns. The synthesiser comes with a pre-loaded library of basslines, keys, loops, and various one-shot sounds, perfect for creating hip-hop, electronic music, and other styles. With the EP-133 K. O. II synthesiser, you can easily fine-tune and automate processes using filters and pitches, or add next-generation “punch-in” effects. There's also a master compressor that adds punch, clarity, and proper cohesion to the final sound.

The EP-133 K. O. II is designed for truly independent creation, so you can go from the initial idea to the final structure of your track without connecting to a computer. The synthesiser can be powered via the USB-C port or with four AAA batteries, which makes it a very versatile and easily portable travel companion. The device has a compact plastic body with durable retro-style buttons that feature high touch sensitivity. The EP-133 K. O. II synthesiser comes in a unique portable box made of moulded paper pulp, reminiscent of luxury cigar boxes or archival cases.
