The Teltonika DAP142 Industrial WiFi Access Point is a single-band wireless device compliant with the IEEE 802.11b/g/n (Wi-Fi 4) standard, transferring data at speeds of up to 4800Mb/s on the 2.4GHz band. This compact access point, housed in a durable aluminium casing, delivers stable operation even in demanding conditions. The integrated DIN rail makes it easy to mount directly into distribution boards and industrial cabinets without needing any additional adaptors, speeding up deployment in the field.

Stable coverage with Wi-Fi Mesh technology
The device supports modern network protocols for wireless interconnection and fast roaming between nodes. With technologies such as 802.11s, Fast Roaming (802.11r) and BSS Transition Management (802.11v), it creates a seamless network with a single name. The access point can serve up to 50 client devices simultaneously, meeting the demands of industrial operations and IoT infrastructures.
Advanced security and network features
Data transfer protection is provided by WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE encryption standards, as well as the enterprise-grade WPA2-EAP and WPA3-EAP variants. The integrated firewall offers configurable rules for port forwarding and DDoS attack prevention. Users can utilise secure encrypted VPN tunnels via OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard or Tailscale protocols for secure remote access.
Management and RutOS operating system
The RutOS system, built on Linux OpenWrt, provides extensive configuration options via a web interface (HTTP/HTTPS), command-line interface (CLI) or the TR-069 protocol. The hardware is powered by a 580MHz Mediatek processor with 128MB of RAM and 16MB of Flash memory. The centralised Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS) enables remote bulk management and monitoring.
Industrial AP connector options
Connectivity for the Teltonika DAP142 WiFi Access Point is provided by two 10/100Mb/s Ethernet ports and one RS232 serial port for connecting industrial machinery. Power is supplied via passive PoE with a voltage range of 9–30V DC or using a 3-pin power connector. A single reverse polarity RP-SMA connector is used for connecting an external antenna.
