The Termofol underfloor heating mat consists of a system of conductors laid on a special fibreglass mesh. The installation does not raise the floor level and provides the pleasant feeling of a warm floor, which also increases the comfort of any interior. A constant output of 150W/m² ensures optimal thermal parameters and the system itself is not dependent on the existing central heating system in any way, so it can be controlled independently. The ready-to-use H6-Wifi installation kit is prepared for self-installation.

Heating mat application:
1. Cement screed
2. Heating mat
3. Underfloor heating adhesive or self-levelling compound
4. Ceramic tiles / parquet / stone
Site preparation and installation:
The first step in laying the mat is to create an opening in the wall for 2 pipes to accommodate the end of the power cable and the sensor wire. A flush-mounted box Ø 60 for the installation of the temperature controller must also be placed in the wall. You can then proceed to lay the system on the floor. For the underfloor heating mat to fulfil its purpose, it must be spread evenly over the entire floor area. It is particularly important to maintain the same spacing and to avoid downpipes, drainpipes, hot water installation elements or heating pipes. In the event of a failure and the need to replace these elements in the future, the conductors could be mechanically damaged. The heating mat should not be laid so that it runs between separate rooms, nor under permanently installed furniture or equipment. On the other hand, it is permissible to lay it under wall-hung sanitary ware or furniture standing on legs. The electrical conductors must never be shortened. If the heating film or heating mat under the panels, terracotta or floor covering is too long and does not fit in the room, only cuts to the mesh may be made.
