Combination of materials for enhanced protection
The case consists of two parts that work together to increase the phone's durability. An inner layer of flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) absorbs energy from drops and impacts. It also covers the control buttons, protecting them from wear and tear while keeping them easy to press. An outer shell of hard plastic then provides firm support and prevents the back of the phone from getting scratched. A raised edge around the display and camera prevents them from touching flat surfaces when the device is placed down.
