Magical reading book starring Hurvínek
Albi Magic Reading
Starring Hurvínek
Magic Reading is for all children who love discovering new stories and learning interesting things in a fun way. The interactive book, Starring Hurvínek, from the Magic Reading series will introduce children aged 3 and over to the world of one of the most famous Czech puppets. The book was created to celebrate Hurvínek's 100th birthday, which falls in 2026. Children will meet not only Hurvínek, but also other popular characters from the Spejbl and Hurvínek Theatre – Spejbl, Mánička, Žeryk, and Bábinka. They'll get a peek behind the scenes of the theatre, find out how puppets are created by a carver, and join Hurvínek on adventurous expeditions into space and mysterious Egypt. They will also learn where the theatre has performed, and finally, take part in Hurvínek's grand birthday celebration right on the stage. The book contains a wealth of dialogues, interesting facts, sounds, and quizzes, which will help children expand their knowledge in an entertaining way and enjoy a unique encounter with these legendary puppet heroes.

How Does Albi Magic Reading Work?
For children to enjoy fun interaction with the books from the Magic Reading series, they need to have the pen, which will become their guide. After touching the appropriate area or picture, the electronic pen will tell children important information or play the corresponding sound. The Albi pen can make the books talk or sing, teach children new information, and even play a spot-the-difference game with them or test their newly acquired knowledge with a quiz. The pen can be purchased in two versions, both of which are compatible with all products from the Magic Reading series.
What Are the Symbols in the Books and Games For?
For everything to work correctly, you must load each book, game, or memory game using the On/Off button. It is through the On/Off button that the pen finds the correct sound file. By touching the On/Off button a second time, the pen will tell you information about the meaning of the icons found in the book. You can always find an explanation of their functions on the back of the book or game. These are the icons below:
