In the expansion for the board game Marvel United: You'll meet Deadpool in three different guises - as a hero, a villain and a chaotic challenge. The three forms increase the variability and replayability of the game. As a hero, Deadpool brings a strong, but unpredictable actions, as the villain, he becomes an almost unbeatable opponent, who cannot be permanently eliminated from the game, and as a chaotic challenge interferes with unexpected events, that can help both the heroes to the bad guy. Another interesting new character is Bob, a Hydra agent who can play both sides of the barricade. Bob's abilities are weaker, but they can surprise at the least expected moment.
Game History and Expansion Creators
Marvel United board game: Deadpool was first launched in 2022 by CMON Global Limited as part of the second wave of expansions for Marvel United focusing on the X-Men characters. It was localized to English in 2023. The renowned designers Andrea Chiarvesio, Eric M. Lang and Francesco Rugerfred Sedda. The visuals were handled by talented illustrator Édouard Guiton, who managed to capture Deadpool's personality perfectly in the artwork.
