This set of five TP-Link EAP613 access points with the Omada platform lets you build large, scalable wireless networks using the Wi-Fi 6 standard. The dual-band device operates on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, reaching a combined transmission speed of 1775Mbps. On the 5GHz band, the speed is 1201Mbps, while the 2.4GHz band offers 574Mbps. With OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies, this solution is optimised for a stable connection in densely populated environments, such as offices, schools, or hotels where a large number of clients connect to the network simultaneously. Furthermore, integration into the Omada SDN ecosystem provides centralised management of the entire network from a single point.

Performance and efficiency with Wi-Fi 6
The access point uses the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard, which brings a fundamental increase in network efficiency and throughput, especially in environments with a high density of clients. OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies work together to optimise data transmission. OFDMA allows data for multiple devices to be transmitted in a single packet, which reduces latency, while MU-MIMO communicates with several clients simultaneously. This serves dozens of clients without reducing network performance. The 1024-QAM modulation further increases data throughput. The device is also backward compatible with older Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards.
Centralised management
The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform manages the entire network, integrating access points, switches, and gateways into a single interface. Management can be done via the web interface or the Omada mobile app, which permits both local and remote cloud access without any additional licence fees. The platform supports Omada Mesh technology, which wirelessly connects individual units and extends coverage without the need to install data cables. The seamless roaming feature (802.11k/v) switches clients between points without connection dropouts, creating a unified and intelligently managed network.
Advanced network security
Wireless traffic is protected by the modern WPA3 encryption standard, which provides more robust security against attacks. The device maintains backward compatibility with WPA2 and WPA protocols in both Personal and Enterprise versions. To separate company traffic from visitors, you can create a secure guest network. This offers various authentication methods, including login via SMS, Facebook, Voucher, or a custom captive portal. For business deployments, it protects sensitive data and segments network traffic through support for 802.1X with RADIUS server authentication, VLANs, and MAC address filtering.
Connectivity options
Each unit in the pack includes one RJ-45 gigabit Ethernet port, which serves for both data connection and power. Installation is simplified by support for Power over Ethernet in the PoE+ (802.3at) standard, as well as passive PoE (48V). This means you only need to run a single cable to the device. For installations without PoE, you can use the option of powering it with a 12V DC adapter, which is not included in the package.
