The TP-Link VIGI C440 IP camera provides detailed monitoring with a 4Mpx resolution (2560 × 1440px), complemented by a fixed 4mm lens with a horizontal viewing angle of 80°, a vertical angle of 43.2°, and a screen size angle of 94.2°. The Turret-style device delivers a full-colour image even in complete darkness, thanks to its 24h Full-Colour technology, sensitive sensor, and integrated LED spotlights. Advanced algorithms distinguish people and vehicles from other objects, increasing the accuracy of event detection. The camera supports a wireless connection via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is powered by a 9–12V DC adapter. The camera supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 compression formats, which reduce storage capacity and data-rate requirements while maintaining high image quality.

Night Vision and Smart Detection
The device uses Full-Colour technology for continuous colour imaging even in complete darkness, aided by two white LEDs and two infrared LEDs with a wavelength of 850nm. The night illumination reaches a distance of up to 30m and can be set to automatic mode, scheduled, or left permanently on or off. Image quality in poor light conditions is further enhanced by 3D DNR, DWDR, and Smart IR technologies. Integrated AI functions allow for precise classification of people and vehicles, reducing the number of false alerts. The system supports area intrusion detection, line crossing, region entering, region exiting, camera tampering detection, scene change, and abnormal sound. Upon detecting an event, it can activate a flashing white light and an audio alert through the built-in speaker.
Two-Way Audio and Data Storage
The camera is equipped with a built-in microphone that records sounds within a 5m radius of the camera, and an integrated speaker for two-way audio transmission. This hardware configuration allows for real-time communication with people in the monitored area. The system processes audio using ambient noise filtering, which contributes to better clarity of the transmitted sound. Recordings can be stored locally via the built-in microSD memory card slot, which supports capacities of up to 512GB. The camera system is managed via a web interface, NVR interface, the VIGI app, and VIGI Security Manager software. The camera also supports cloud services and a wide range of network protocols, including FTP/SFTP for network communication.
Connectivity and Applications
Network connectivity is provided by 2.4GHz Wi-Fi wireless technology with two integrated omnidirectional antennas or a 10/100Mb/s RJ-45 Ethernet port. Management and image monitoring are enabled by the VIGI app, web interface, VIGI VMS, VIGI Cloud VMS, VIGI Config Tool, and VIGI PC Client. The web interface is supported in Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge browsers.
