High speed and durable construction
The device uses the 802.11ac standard and WiFi 5 technology for wireless communication. The WiFi transfer speed reaches 187.5MB/s, meeting high demands for large data transfers. The antenna's dual polarisation supports stable signal reception in outdoor environments. Two LAN ports on the device body let you connect network cables and configure the entire system. One port supports Gigabit Ethernet and the other is a Fast Ethernet port with a speed of 10/100Mbps. The outdoor unit has an IP54 protection rating against dust and splashing water. The construction withstands rain and dust at operating temperatures from -40 to 55°C in demanding climatic conditions. The solid plastic and metal chassis protects the sensitive internal electronics from mechanical damage. The dimensions of the entire device are 649 × 426 × 303mm and its total weight is 10.5kg, including the integrated bracket. The device can withstand wind loads of up to 200km/h and maintains the stability of the directional link on the pole.
Long range and PoE+ power
The directional antenna transmits a signal in a narrow 30° beam angle for precise targeting of the opposite point. The wireless link range is up to 13000m, provided there is a direct line of sight. The high antenna gain of 33dBi helps to overcome attenuation caused by distance and precipitation. The device requires a clear zone without obstacles between both points to maintain full speed and transmission quality. The integrated antenna has a transmission gain of 33dBi and a reception gain of 38dBi. The unit is powered using the 802.3at standard, also known as PoE+, via an Ethernet cable. The package includes an original PoE adapter with an output voltage of 50V and a current of 1.2A. Power over Ethernet simplifies installation on high poles and buildings without needing a separate power cable. The power consumption of the entire system does not exceed 50W at full load. The supported voltage range is from 42 to 58V DC.
GPS synchronisation and easy configuration
The integrated GPS receiver automatically synchronises data transmission and reception time frames. This technology prevents mutual interference between adjacent transmitters located on the same pole or in the vicinity. Precise timing using a satellite signal increases the overall throughput of the wireless route and stabilises the transmission. With active GPS synchronisation, the frequency deviation drops to 0.2ppm. Without a satellite signal, this deviation is 2.5ppm and affects connection stability at high temperatures. The administrator can choose between half and full duplex to optimise link capacity. AES encryption with a 128-bit key protects transmitted data from unauthorised external access. Connection to a computer is made via a dedicated configuration port with a speed of 10/100Mbps. The rear panel also features a digital display showing the received signal strength in dBm for easier antenna alignment.
