The Ubiquiti WiFi antenna is designed for outdoor wireless signal transmission. Its panel construction operates in the 900MHz band and uses an antenna gain of 13.2–13.8dBi for stable long-distance connections. The device connects to a router and supports the 802.11n standard. The outdoor design meets IP65 certification, preventing dust and water ingress. The device can withstand winds of up to 200km/h and a wind load of 422.6N at 160km/h. These design features allow for year-round operation in demanding weather conditions.
The antenna works with dual polarisation and a 65° directional angle in directional mode. The HPOL beamwidth is 109° at 6dB, and the VPOL beamwidth is 120° at 6dB. The transmission speed is up to 150Mb/s within the WiFi 4 standard. The device uses a frequency range of 902 to 928MHz for selected wireless transmissions.
Installation is made easy with the universal pole mounting kit. Power is supplied via the PoE 802.3af standard. This method simplifies wiring by carrying both power and data over a single ethernet cable. The package also includes weatherproof RF jumpers and a RocketM bracket for quick assembly of a functional point.
