The Ubiquiti UFiber GPON OLT transceiver module connects end stations in GPON standard optical networks. You can plug this transceiver directly into compatible OLT devices, where it facilitates bidirectional data transmission over a single single-mode optical fibre. The optical module operates at a wavelength of 1490nm for transmitting and 1310nm for receiving. The device operates at a transmission speed of 2.5Gb/s downstream to the user. Data is uploaded at a speed of 1.25Gb/s. The transceiver connects using an SC/UPC optical connector to a single-mode optical fibre. The signal transmits data over a distance of 20km without any degradation in quality. The design complies with the SFF-8472 standard and fits selected OLT elements.
