First-Class Image and Optical Properties
At the heart of the device is an effective 1/1.6" imaging sensor with 12Mpx resolution, which records video in 3504 × 3504px resolution with a 1:1 aspect ratio. The fixed fisheye lens with a single optical element provides a very wide 180° field of view in the horizontal, vertical and screen size directions. The camera records smooth footage with a frame rate of 24 FPS, which provides sharp details even with fast movement in the shot. To efficiently manage network traffic and data storage, it uses H.264 video compression, which effectively reduces the data stream while maintaining high image quality.
Night Vision
Property protection continues uninterrupted even after dark thanks to the integrated night mode with classic infrared illumination. The built-in IR LED lighting with an IR cut filter provides reliable range up to 15m in complete darkness. A major advantage is the Smart IR function, which offers four independently controlled zones to optimise the light intensity and prevent overexposure of nearby objects. The camera thus provides a clear and balanced monochrome image regardless of the lighting conditions in the surrounding environment.
Intelligent AI Detection and Features
The device contains an advanced processor with a quad-core chip based on Arm Cortex-A53, which powers intelligent detection algorithms directly in the camera. It offers smart AI detection for reliable recognition of people, vehicles, and animals in the monitored area. If any suspicious activity is recorded, the system sends immediate mobile notifications directly to the user, allowing a response to the situation.
Durable Construction and Installation
The robust chassis made of aluminium alloy and polycarbonate provides high resistance to adverse conditions and damage. The camera offers an IP66 rating for reliable outdoor operation and a high level of mechanical resistance IK10 against vandalism. The device operates reliably in a wide temperature range from -30°C to 50°C and in humidity up to 90%. Flexibility during installation is provided by the included surface mount bracket.
Connectivity and Application
Network connectivity is provided by a fast RJ-45 Ethernet port with a speed of 10/100 MbE, which is used for both data transfer and power. Device management and live stream monitoring are done in the UniFi Protect application, which is fully compatible with Android and iOS operating systems. The mobile application's user interface is available in English, Czech and Slovak, which facilitates all settings. The camera saves recordings to a local network recorder within the UniFi ecosystem, or to a local MicroSD card in the event of a connection failure.
