The Ubiquiti UniFi Video Camera G4 Doorbell Pro IP camera provides detailed surveillance of its surroundings thanks to a combination of two imaging sensors with a resolution of 1600 × 1200px. The wide horizontal viewing angle of 138° covers a large area in front of the lens, while integrated illumination and classic night vision with IR LEDs provide visibility even in low light conditions. Advanced AI features detect people and vehicles to help identify important events. The device supports AC 16-24V mains power or power via a USB Type-C interface and is designed for both outdoor and indoor wall-mounted installation.

Image quality
The imaging system uses two separate sensors to capture images at 1600 × 1200px resolution. The primary camera with a 5Mpx CMOS sensor operates at 30 frames per second. The secondary 8Mpx CMOS camera captures images at 2 frames per second. The modern H.264 video compression format effectively reduces the size of stored files. The optical section with a single main lens offers a horizontal viewing angle of 138°, a vertical angle of 114°, and a screen size angle of 155°.
Night vision
The camera uses a classic IR LED illuminator on the primary lens for night surveillance. The night vision range is 6.6m for reliable identification of objects in the dark. The integrated short-range LED light of approximately 2 metres is used to illuminate the immediate surroundings. The secondary camera with 8.0Mpx resolution operates without IR illumination.
Smart detection and alarms
The integrated motion sensor works with advanced algorithms to recognise specific objects in the field of view. The system accurately detects the movement of people, vehicles, and animals in the monitored area. Advanced AI functions for person and car recognition minimise false alarms. When activity is detected, the system immediately sends mobile notifications to the user.
Sound and two-way communication
The device has a built-in microphone and speaker that provide full two-way audio. The audio system includes an echo cancellation feature that increases the intelligibility of the spoken word. The built-in microphone can be disabled via software in the management settings if required. This feature facilitates direct communication with people at the entrance.
Data storage and installation
The camera stores data in its 512MB internal memory and uses 256MB of flash memory. Its IPX4-rated construction is resistant to splashing water and allows for outdoor and indoor wall mounting. The device operates in a temperature range from -10.0°C to 40.0°C without loss of functionality. It is powered from the AC 16-24V mains or via a USB Type-C interface with DC 5V and up to 2A current.
Connectivity options
Wireless connectivity works via a Wi-Fi 802.11ac interface in the 2.4GHz band, and Bluetooth 5.0 technology is also available. For a wired network connection, GbE transmission via USB-C can be used with an optional adapter. Management and setup is done via the UniFi Protect mobile app, which supports Android and iOS, or via the web interface in Windows.
