The Ubiquiti USW-16-POE Gen2 switch is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses that require a reliable, professional-grade managed switch. This model has a switching capacity of 36Gb/s. The switch is equipped with 16× RJ-45 ports for connecting network elements. You can use the two SFP connectors to transfer data over optical fibres. 10/100/1000Base-T technology allows data to be transferred at speeds of up to 1000Mbit/s. It has Dual Personality ports, which are unique in that they include both an RJ-45 and an SFP connector, but only one can be used at any given time. Thanks to QoS (Quality of Service) technology, switch overload is prevented, and you can also adjust the priority of end devices. The Ubiquiti device also works with PoE technology, which supplies power and signal to end devices using only a single LAN cable. Due to its shallow depth of just 20cm, this fanless switch can be easily installed in any 19" data cabinet.

Easy management via the UniFi Network Controller

The Ubiquiti USW-16-POE Gen2 switch can be easily managed and configured using the UniFi Network Controller application, which supports UniFi mobile apps. It offers an extensive set of advanced L2 switching protocols and features, including per-port operation mode (switching, mirroring, or aggregation). The UniFi Network Controller and mobile app allow administrators to configure and monitor virtually all switch functions from anywhere through a graphical user interface. The switch has a 1.3" touchscreen that displays system information, temperature, port statistics, and PoE power status.
