Wireless standard WiFi 7
The device integrates the 802.11be wireless standard for fast data transfer in the 5GHz band at speeds of up to 625MB/s. Two independent radios work with Multi-Link Operation technology. This combination increases the overall throughput of the wireless network and reduces latency under high load. A powerful 1.5GHz quad-core IPQ5322 processor and 1GB of DDR4 RAM support smooth operation even during demanding network operations and large data transfers.
High-speed interface
Wired network connectivity is provided by two 10Gbit Ethernet ports. One RJ45 port is complemented by a 10G SFP+ optical interface for reliable fibre optic routes. The device uses PoE standard 802.3at with a power consumption of up to 20W. You will find a corresponding 10GbE PoE adapter with 54V DC and 0.56A parameters in the package. This interface configuration fully meets the demanding requirements for transferring large volumes of data without unnecessary delay at the physical layer.
Directional properties and gain
The directional design with 45dBi gain focuses the wireless signal into a narrow beam. A beamwidth of 30° in both horizontal and vertical planes significantly reduces ambient interference from other sources. The antenna directs the transmitted power to a single point to achieve a range of up to 100000m. Vertical polarisation contributes to the stability of the wireless link in Point-to-Point mode. The narrow beam makes it easy to precisely aim at the opposite side, even over long distances.
Durability
The outdoor unit features a durable aluminium chassis with UV-stable polycarbonate. An IP66 rating protects the internal components from dust and water ingress. The design operates in temperatures ranging from -40 to 60°C. Mounting on a pole with a diameter of 2.54 to 5.08cm uses stainless steel for high mechanical resistance. Its compact dimensions of 24.93 × 8.2 × 4.76cm and a weight of 575g make it easy to handle and install directly at height on lattice towers.
GPS synchronisation
An integrated GPS receiver with its own waterproof antenna provides precise synchronisation. This function helps with frequency spectrum planning and reduces mutual interference between neighbouring transmitters. The device supports centralised management via the UISP platform for easy monitoring. The network administrator has an immediate overview of the unit's status and location.
Security
The wireless link uses strong WPA3-PSK encryption with the AES algorithm for reliable security of transmitted data. The product meets the strict requirements of the American NDAA standard for the security of telecommunications components. The manufacturer supplies a complete mounting kit in the package, including a powerful PoE adapter. Physical installation on a pole requires only basic tools and shortens the time it takes to deploy the entire link into live operation.
