VERBATIM Vx500 SSD 1TB
The Verbatim Vx500 external SSD offers a 1TB capacity for quickly storing, transferring and backing up your digital data. At its core is a combination of high-speed flash memory and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 controller, optimised for high performance. This makes the drive ideal for managing large files, such as projects, photo libraries or high-resolution videos. It minimises the time needed for data operations and supports efficient workflows. The entire device is housed in a solid aluminium body, which protects the internal components during transport, and at a weight of just 29 grams, it won't weigh down your laptop bag.

High performance
The drive operates at read speeds of up to 500MB/s and write speeds of up to 440MB/s, reducing waiting times when copying large files. This performance, built on flash memory and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 controller, supports the smooth running of virtual machines directly from the external storage. It also lets you edit 4K video directly without having to first copy it to your computer's internal drive, which significantly improves efficiency when working in the field.
Compact aluminium design
The drive's body is made of aluminium, which not only protects the internal electronics from mechanical damage but also acts as a passive heatsink. It effectively dissipates the heat generated during intensive writing and reading, thus maintaining stable performance. Weighing just 29 grams, this portable SSD is perfect for everyday use on the go as an extension to your ultrabook's capacity.
Universal connectivity
Connecting to other devices is made simple with the included USB-C and separate USB-A cables. This ensures direct compatibility with a wide range of computers, TVs, and mobile devices without the need to purchase additional adaptors. To take advantage of the full transfer speed, we recommend connecting via the USB-C port to a USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3 host interface.
