Organic turmeric root extract and organic whole turmeric root powder. The turmeric in this supplement comes from a small Indian farm (certified organic by the Soil Association). Curcumin offers many confirmed properties, which are primarily related to undesirable reactions in the human body. Therefore, it can be recommended for intense sports activity or to improve care for the body during a demanding lifestyle, intense sports, or during a stressful and demanding period.

The Viridian supplement contains root extract providing curcumin and other curcuminoids (demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin), as well as whole root powder. Curcumin is the main bioactive substance in turmeric, but the whole root also contains essential oils, special polysaccharides, proteins and many natural compounds that are as bioactive or important as curcumin itself. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) has a long tradition of use in Ayurveda, where it is used for a wide range of effects in many areas. It belongs to the Zingiberaceae family and is grown mainly in India and Southeast Asia. Curcumin helps control inflammatory responses (permitted health claims according to the European Commission's On Hold list).
