The strongest Viridian supplement containing black seed. It contains an extract from Egyptian black seed (Nigella Sativa) standardised to a 20% thymoquinone content. Most black seed supplements provide an average of 1–2% thymoquinone. This natural substance is the active ingredient in black seed, which has been used for its remarkable effects for more than 3,000 years. The ancient Egyptians used it – Tutankhamun even had a jar of black seed oil in his tomb. It is also mentioned in the Bible, and the Persian physician Avicenna noted its ability to increase energy and help with fatigue. Why is black seed important?
Black seed is a plant that, like turmeric for example, has very versatile uses. Black seed contains a large number of substances, some of which have not yet even been identified. The ones that have been safely recognised so far are: nigellone, thymoquinone, thymohydroquinone and thymol, and of the fatty acids, myristic acid, palmitic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid. The vitamins found in it include vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, and folic acid. It also contains calcium, iron, copper, zinc, magnesium, and phosphorus.

Ingredients
Egyptian black seed (Nigella Sativa) extract 250mg; standardised to 20% thymoquinone content; in a base of Egyptian black seed powder. Capsule shell: vegetable cellulose (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose).
Recommended dosage
Take 1 capsule daily with food.
