SAMe (S-adenosyl-methionine) is the body's own substance - it is formed from the amino acid methionine and is involved in many important processes in the body. It is part of the natural metabolism and is found in virtually all cells. The body makes SAMe itself, mainly in the liver, but its production depends on sufficient vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid. If these nutrients are not enough, or if the metabolism is stressed, for example, SAMe levels in the body may be reduced. We take in very little of it from food - and it is unstable. It is therefore advisable to supplement it in the form of a quality supplement.
How does SAMe work in the body?
SAMe supports the production of substances that affect our mood, vitality and mental balance. It also contributes to natural processes in the joints, such as cartilage repair. It is also involved in the transfer of methyl groups - a process that is important for cellular processes, including natural ageing. Vitamin C contributes to the normal production of collagen for cartilage function. Vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid support normal mental and nervous system function.

Recommended dosage
Take 1 capsule daily, ideally on an empty stomach.
