Discover 6th SENSE technology with the WHIRLPOOL FFB 8489 WV EE washing machine that thinks for you

Based on the amount of laundry and the selected programme, the 6th SENSE technology algorithm optimises energy use and controls the moisture level during the WHIRLPOOL FFB 8489 WV EE's washing process. This ensures you only use the amount of energy and time needed to achieve the desired result. The washing machine automatically detects the size and type of the load, then selects the best cycle parameters, while special algorithms calculate the correct settings for high efficiency in terms of time and energy.

Enjoy every day with the FreshCare+ function

Your laundry will wait for you in the WHIRLPOOL FFB 8489 WV EE washing machine, fresh and crease-free, even after the cycle has finished, thanks to FreshCare+ technology. This keeps your laundry fresh for up to 6 hours after the wash cycle ends. It's the perfect combination of the gentle power of steam and delicate drum rotation. FreshCare+ prevents unwanted odours from spreading inside the WHIRLPOOL FFB 8489 WV EE washing machine, reduces bacteria growth, and prevents creasing, so perfectly washed and unwrinkled laundry will always be waiting for you.

Clean+ adapts the wash cycle to the soil level of your laundry

With the smart Clean+ programme, you no longer have to worry about soiled clothes. You can choose from 3 levels – intensive, daily, and fast. The programme can adapt the wash cycle to the level of soiling. The WHIRLPOOL FFB 8489 WV EE washing machine therefore significantly saves you time and energy.

Steam Refresh removes odours and minimises creasing

The excellent Steam Refresh programme on the WHIRLPOOL FFB 8489 WV EE washing machine removes odours and minimises creasing in just 20 minutes. Your clothes will be beautifully fresh without unnecessary washing. The entire process uses less than two glasses of water, significantly saving on your water and electricity bills. The principle is based on a stream of steam that the washing machine creates. The steam penetrates the fibres, where it removes odours and relaxes the fabrics, which also smooths out creases.
