Zodac 10 mg 10 tablets
The active substance of Zodac is cetirizine dihydrochloride. Zodac is an allergy medicine. Zodac is used in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age to:
- relieve nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis
- Relief of symptoms of long-term urticaria of unclear origin (chronic idiopathic urticaria)
💊 Use
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily.
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mg (1/2 tablet) twice daily.
The tablets should be swallowed and washed down with a glass of water.
The tablet can be divided into equal doses.
If you do not feel better within 3 days or if you get worse, you must consult a doctor.
🍃 Ingredients
The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride. One coated tablet contains 10 mg cetirizindihydrochloride. Excipients are: lactose monohydrate, cornstarch, povidon 30, magnesium stearate, hypromellose 2910/5, macrogol 6000, talc, titanium dioxide, Simethicone emulsion SE 4.
⚠️️ Warning
Children:
The administration of coated tablets is not recommended in children under 6 years of age, as this dosage form does not allow for appropriate dose adjustment.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before taking this medicine. Zodac should not be given to pregnant women. Accidental use of the drug should not cause any harmful effects on the fetus. However, take the medicine only if absolutely necessary and after consulting your doctor. Cetirizine dihydrochloride is excreted in breast milk. Therefore, you should not take Zodac during breastfeeding without consulting your physician.
Read the package leaflet carefully before taking the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. In case of side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
📦 Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the box and blister after "EXP". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. This product does not require any special storage conditions.
