ACM Molutrex 5% sol. 3 ml
Molutrex is a skin solution designed to treat molluscum. Molluscum contagiosum is a contagious skin disease caused by a virus of the poxvirus group (Molluscum Contagiosum).. The infection causes blisters on the skin. The preparation can be applied to children from 2 years and adults.
Dosage ACM Molutrex 5% sol. 3 ml
Apply 1 or 2 times a day (morning and evening). Discontinue application if the treated area becomes inflamed. Before first use, replace the cap of the bottle with a child safety lock with a cap fitted with a brush. The package also contains a fine applicator for more precise application on very small Molluscum contagiosum. The use of the product is external only. When applying, place the bottle on a flat surface to avoid spillage. The product must be applied by an adult.
Use of the preparation
- Open the bottle, place it on a flat surface to prevent spillage and dip the brush or applicator gently into the solution. Wipe off any excess from the brush or applicator on the rim of the bottle neck to prevent dripping. Use a brush or applicator so that the product is accurately applied to Molluscum contagiosum without contact with healthy skin.
- Dip the brush or applicator into the product again for every 2 or 3 applications. After use, replace safely with a child safety lock cap. Allow the brush or applicator to dry. When using on a child, make sure the child does not touch the treated area while the treated area dries.
- Repeat the application once or twice a day, on the same Molluscum contagiosum for several days until inflammation (redness) usually appears after 2-10 days
- Discontinue application of Molutrex to a specific Molluscum contagiosum when inflammation occurs. This is an indication that the Molluscum contagiosum papules disappear after 2 to 6 weeks.
