A type A (USA) plug is integrated directly into the body of the charger, and the package also includes two interchangeable plugs – type C (EU) and type G (UK). This lets you charge your devices almost anywhere in the world without having to buy different adapters. The plugs simply click into place or can be removed completely without tools. The AlzaPower Apex T500 also has an integrated highly efficient power management integrated circuit (PMIC) that enables it to operate within an input voltage range of 100 to 240V.

The travel charger uses a semiconductor technology based on gallium nitride (GaN), which has several unique properties – the ability to work with high voltage, frequency, and temperature. The AlzaPower Apex T500 charger features Smart IC – Dynamic Power Distribution Reset, where the charger resets for a brief moment when a new device is connected or a charging device is disconnected. This prevents situations where a connected device draws more power than is available, which can cause overcurrent issues. In this mode, the charger very briefly disconnects all ports and does not charge. It then recalculates and redistributes the available power for each device based on their current requirements. This ensures optimal power delivery without overloading any port. Charging is also efficient and safe for all connected devices.
