NVIDIA Ampere architecture
NVIDIA Ampere Streaming Multiprocessors deliver double the FP32 throughput and improved power efficiency compared to the previous generation. 2nd generation RT Cores provide double the performance in ray tracing with support for concurrent RT and shading. 3rd generation Tensor Cores achieve up to double the performance with advanced AI algorithms, including DLSS, which significantly boosts gaming performance and introduces new AI capabilities. The card operates at 1867MHz in OC Mode or 1837MHz in Gaming Mode and has 3584 CUDA cores.
Cooling and quiet operation
Axial-tech fans feature longer blades and a barrier ring to deliver more effective downward airflow. 0dB technology automatically stops the fans when the GPU temperature drops below 50°C and power consumption is low, eliminating unnecessary noise during light loads. The carefully designed shroud, heatsink and heatpipe layout allows the two Axial-tech fans to use the chassis side panel ventilation, providing efficient heat dissipation despite the card's compact size.
Durable construction and quality manufacturing
The PCB is reinforced with an aluminium backplate, which increases structural rigidity and protects components and traces from damage. The mounting bracket is made of 304 stainless steel, which is harder and more resistant to corrosion than standard materials. The Auto-Extreme Technology manufacturing process completes all soldering in a single pass, which reduces thermal strain on components, eliminates the need for harsh cleaning chemicals, and improves the overall reliability of the product.
Software and additional features
The GPU Tweak II utility enables advanced parameter tuning, including GPU core clocks, memory frequency and voltage settings, with real-time monitoring via a customisable on-screen display. The card has undergone a 144-hour validation programme to test its compatibility with the latest games and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC, NVIDIA Reflex for the lowest latency in competitive games, and DirectX 12 Ultimate with advanced graphics effects. The card's shroud includes a subtly lit strip, creating a stylish accent for your build. It supports resolutions up to 7680×4320 and can connect to up to four displays simultaneously via three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1 ports.
