Hands-free connection
The PNI PMR R40 Pro allows you to connect headphones with a PNI 2-pin microphone (Kenwood), which makes using the radio in a hands-free system easier. Headphones are included. A battery and a desktop charger are also included in the package.
Professional functions
The PNI PMR R40 Pro offers users several functions: automatic squelch preset to level 5, TOT (Timeout timer) preset to 180 seconds, channel monitoring and a VOX function that allows you to transmit without pressing the PTT button.
1200mAh battery
PMR stations have a comprehensive battery-saving function that extends battery life by more than 50%. The PNI PMR R40 Pro is equipped with such a function and a removable 1200mAh Li-Ion battery.
Station programming software
The functions of the PNI PMR R40 Pro station can be customised using the PNI PSR230 programming cable kit and software. The programming kit is purchased separately.
