The BlackView XPLORE 1 Walkie Talkie mobile phone combines an extremely durable 5G smartphone with a real hardware walkie-talkie that lets you communicate even without a mobile signal, Wi-Fi, or internet connection. It supports both digital and analogue modes, UHF and VHF frequency bands, AES encryption, and instant connection via the PTT button. The features are rounded off with a 20000mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, dual displays, a night vision camera, a powerful LED torch, an infrared remote control, precise navigation, and smart Doke AI functions.
The BlackView XPLORE 1 Walkie Talkie uses a hardware walkie-talkie that doesn't depend on a mobile network or internet connection. It supports both digital and analogue modes, so it can communicate with modern digital walkie-talkies as well as older compatible analogue ones. The phone includes a dual-band antenna serving the UHF 400–480MHz and VHF 136–174MHz frequencies. The UHF band is especially useful in buildings, factories, and other built-up areas, while VHF provides wider coverage in open terrain.
A dedicated PTT button lets you start communicating with a single press. The walkie-talkie supports private calls between two users, group communication for teams of over 100 members, and broadcasting to all users on a given channel. In digital mode, dual-slot communication is also available, where two groups can use one frequency simultaneously. AES encryption helps to protect transmitted calls.
The large battery gives the walkie-talkie up to 120 hours of standby time, 20 hours of intermittent communication, or 12 hours of continuous talk time. This makes the phone a reliable communication tool for long shifts, expeditions, rescue operations, construction work, security patrols, or group trips.
The 2W Smart-K speaker, with a volume of up to 91dB and ENC ambient noise reduction, ensures loud and clear audio. It helps to suppress the noise of wind, crowds, or machinery, so instructions are easier to hear even in challenging environments. In analogue mode, a smart filter is also available that reduces noise and static when no voice is present.
The IP68 and IP69K certifications confirm the phone's enhanced protection against water, dust, and high-pressure water, while the MIL-STD-810H standard demonstrates its readiness for shocks, drops, and significant temperature changes. The construction uses reinforced corners, a sealed connector, metal elements, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone can handle submersion in up to 2 metres of water for up to 30 minutes and drops from heights of up to 1.5 metres.
The BlackView XPLORE 1 Walkie Talkie measures 184×83×29.5mm and weighs 680g without the antenna and 695g with the antenna attached. The programmable side button can be assigned to launch the PTT walkie-talkie, torch, sound recorder, screenshot, underwater camera, or SOS mode. Glove Mode 2.0 increases the sensitivity of the touchscreen for use with gloves on.
The main 6.78" IPS display offers a resolution of 1080×2460 pixels, a brightness of up to 700 nits, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. This keeps the picture smooth when scrolling, gaming, or watching videos. The TÜV SÜD Low Blue Light certification helps to reduce blue light, and reading, night light, and dark modes are also available.
On the back is a 2.01" multi-function display with a 240×296px resolution and Panda Glass protection. It lets you check the time, weather, notifications, or step count, control music, accept or reject calls, and use the compass. It also serves as a viewfinder for taking selfies with the main camera and offers a selection of different watch faces.
Smooth operation is handled by the 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, with a frequency of up to 2.4GHz, a Mali-G68 MC4 graphics chip, and 5G mobile network support. Paired with 12GB of RAM, it handles multitasking, multimedia, navigation, and more demanding applications. The RAM can be virtually expanded as needed.
For your apps and files, there's 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which you can supplement with a memory card of up to 2TB. The integrated cooling system, with a total area of 5480mm², uses a graphite layer, copper foil, and thermal conductive material to help dissipate heat during extended gaming or heavy loads. Game mode limits distracting notifications and helps focus performance on the running game.
The 20000mAh battery provides exceptional endurance when travelling, working in the field, communicating with the walkie-talkie, or when you're away from the grid. You can top up the power using 55W wired fast charging. The phone also supports 45W charging via an optional charging dock, which is not included in the package.
With 5W reverse charging, the BlackView XPLORE 1 Walkie Talkie can serve as a power bank for your wireless headphones, smartwatch, another phone, camera or other USB-powered devices. Intelligent charging and power-saving algorithms ensure more efficient energy use and protect the battery.
The camera setup includes a 64Mpx main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, PDAF autofocus, a six-element lens and four-in-one pixel binning technology. The True-Chroma Image 2.0 feature helps to preserve more natural colour reproduction, and you can record video in up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.
A separate 20Mpx Sony IMX376 night vision camera lets you capture black and white images in very low light and even complete darkness. It's useful for checking your campsite surroundings, observing nature, security checks or documenting your work in the field. The front 50Mpx Samsung ISOCELL JN1 camera with an f/1.8 aperture is ready for detailed selfies, video calls and vlogging.
The phone offers an LED torch, which you can also activate quickly via the programmable side button. An infrared transmitter turns the BlackView XPLORE 1 Walkie Talkie into a universal remote control for TVs, air conditioners, projectors, set-top boxes, fans or other compatible electronics.
The DokeOS 5.0 operating system, based on Android 15, provides optimised power consumption, faster response times, a split-screen for working with two apps, and tools for personalisation, privacy protection, focused work and gaming. The phone is guaranteed to receive three years of Android system updates. You can secure access to the device with your fingerprint or face recognition.
The Doke AI 2.0 suite combines voice control with tools for searching, working with documents, answering questions, creating text, editing photos, generating videos and composing music. Selected Doke AI apps offer a 30-day trial, after which some features may become paid.
Rounding out the features are Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a precision gyroscope, Dual SIM with 5G support, and GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS navigation using L1 + L5 bands. The slot allows for the use of two SIM cards or one SIM card together with a memory card.
