The BRITA ON TAP V filter system for direct tap mounting offers more efficient water filtration than ever before. Thanks to 5 different adapters, you can quickly and easily fit it to almost any tap without tools. Improved filter mixture composition and innovative technology ensure even more effective filtering of unwanted substances such as. chlorine, heavy metals and others that adversely affect the taste of the water. At the same time, it preserves minerals (calcium, magnesium). The water is filtered immediately, so you don't have to worry about waiting long for a glass of clean water. The BRITA ON TAP V offers the possibility to switch between filtered and unfiltered water, for example when washing dishes. You will also appreciate the shower function without water filtration (for rinsing vegetables, washing dishes). Included is the BRITA ON TAP V 4-stage filter cartridge, which is easy to install and replace thanks to its shape, its the capacity is 600 litres.
BRITA ON TAP V uses 4-stage water filtration
The unfiltered water flows through the filter, where an extra-fine sieve catches coarse particles - organic impurities. Subsequently, the water comes into contact with the filter mixture itself, which contains mainly two components. The resin, which is an ion exchanger, absorbs heavy metals (lead, copper). When water comes into contact with the activated carbon microparticles from coconut shells, the substances that negatively affect the taste and smell of the water are reduced - mainly chlorine, pesticides and herbicides that are trapped on the porous surface of the microparticles. Finally, the high-performance sieve captures particles larger than 60 μm, including microplastics. The tap then flows out water that has retained minerals such as calcium and magnesium. The BRITA ON TAP V water filter does not serve as a limescale filter.
