The extraction units of the EMPIRE VD 202050 white cooker hood feature an individually balanced turbine, and the motors are equipped with resettable thermal fuses (they switch off when the motor overheats and switch back on after it cools down). The metal sandwich grease filters are dishwasher-safe. The hood offers both extraction and recirculation modes. For recirculation mode in built-in hoods, a carbon odour filter is installed. The filtered air is ducted from the hood similarly to extraction mode, using a pipe that runs through the entire cabinet. However, the pipe does not exit through the wall with an elbow joint but instead leads above the cabinet, where it is recommended to finish it with a grille.
