Cemio Glycerin care is a disposable medical device in the form of a glycerol-based suppository used to facilitate bowel emptying in constipation. It loosens, moistens and softens the stool, atfacilitates bowel emptying and is designed forro adults.
Cemio GLYCERIN care is used for the short-term treatment of occasional constipation. Glycerol has a mechanical laxative effect, based on the drawing of water into the stool, which leads to its moistening and softening and subsequent bowel distension and emptying.
1 suppository contains 2250 mg of glycerol.
Use 1-2 suppositories per day as needed.
Remove the suppository from the aluminium foil and insert it fully into the rectum with the pointed end first. If the suppository is too soft to introduce, dip it in cold water for a while before removing it from the foil until it becomes a firmer consistency. Wash your hands after inserting the suppository.
Read the instructions included in the package carefully. Designed for single use. Do not use if hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use suppositories to treat acute abdominal pain or other pain of unknown origin. It should not be used frequently and no longer than 7 days. Consult a physician for use in young children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in the original packaging at temperatures up to 30 °C.
