Stacking and redundant power supply
D-Link DGS-1530-28 switch features physical stacking, which lets you manage up to nine switches as a single logical device. This simplifies configuration and monitoring of your network infrastructure. You can use the 10G SFP+ ports to create stacking connections, ensuring sufficient throughput between the individual units. The switch also supports redundant power supply. In addition to the standard mains power supply, you can connect a backup power supply via a 2-pin terminal block, increasing stability and ensuring uninterrupted operation.
Advanced network features and security
The device features advanced L2 and L3 functions for efficient network management. VLAN support lets you logically segment your network, separate traffic from different departments or secure sensitive data. Link aggregation (LACP) combines multiple physical ports into a single logical channel with high throughput. Network security is enhanced by features such as IGMP, DHCP and ARP snooping, which protect against common types of attacks. Control network access using ACLs (Access Control Lists) and port-based 802.1X authentication.
