Desloratadine Viatris 5 mg 30 tablets
Desloratadine Viatris 5 mg. tbl. flm.30
is an anti-allergy drug that does not induce drowsiness. It helps to control your allergic reaction and its symptoms.
Desloratadine Viatris is used in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by allergies, e.g. hay fever or allergy to dust mites).
These symptoms include:
sneezing,
runny nose or itchy nose,
itching on the palate, and
itchy, red or watery eyes.
Desloratadine Viatris is also used to relieve symptoms associated with urticaria (a skin condition caused by allergies). These symptoms include itching and hives. Relief of these symptoms lasts all day and helps you resume normal daily activities and sleep. "
Dosage and method of use
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1 tablet daily. If you do not feel better within 7 days, consult your doctor for further use. The maximum duration of treatment without consulting a doctor is 3 months.
Contraindications
Very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 patients):
- severe allergic reactions, such as difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, wheezing, itching, urticaria and swelling
of the face, lips, of the tongue or other parts of the body and a rash
- seizures (convulsions)
- liver disease (nausea, Vomiting, loss of appetite, a feeling of total discomfort, fever, yellowing of the skin and eyes, light colour of the stool, dark-coloured urine).
Unknown (frequency cannot be determined from available data):
- change in heart rhythm, which may cause a feeling of dizziness or fainting.
This can be observed
in tests of the electrical activity of the heart (""electrocardiogram"" or ECG).
Notice
Viatris Desloratadine 5 mg contains orange-yellow aluminum lacquer (E 110), which may cause allergic reactions. Not intended for children under 12 years of age. MEDICINE, READ THE PACKAGE LEAFLET CAREFULLY.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. This medicine does not require any special storage conditions. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and blister after EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
