Stylish and durable smartwatch with an AMOLED display
All information on the watch display is perfectly readable, and all animations are completely smooth and clear. Garmin Fenix 8 Pro is fitted with a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 × 454 px. This is set within a durable bezel. When you pair the Garmin smartwatch with your phone via Bluetooth, you will receive notifications for incoming emails and messages (if you have an Android, you can also reply to messages), and you can even answer calls. You can confidently pay in shops directly with the smartwatch thanks to Garmin Pay support. If you love music, you'll appreciate the ability to download songs to the watch, and by using wireless headphones, you can listen to music without needing your phone with you.
InReach* technology keeps you connected
The smartwatch is now equipped with unique InReach* technology, which uses an LTE or satellite connection to keep you constantly in touch without needing to carry your mobile phone. In areas with LTE signal coverage, you can make calls directly from the watch via the Garmin Messenger app. If you have an accident, you can quickly and easily activate an interactive SOS and communicate with the Garmin Response coordination centre, which offers non-stop support in over 200 languages.

The watch uses a system of sport profiles dedicated to individual activities. The watch is suitable for most sports activities, both indoor and outdoor. The activities where the watch is most frequently used include: walking, running, cycling, swimming, skiing, triathlon, rowing, strength training, yoga, golf, and many other sports. A new feature of the Fenix 8 Pro is its dive computer functionality for recreational freediving and scuba diving to a depth of 40 metres. The watch is newly fitted with inductive buttons with haptic feedback and increased water resistance. Even underwater, the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro can be controlled using the buttons.

Using daily training recommendations, the Garmin Coach feature, or race training plans, the watch can automatically suggest running training plans based on your fitness level, which adapt to you individually. Garmin Fenix 8 Pro is equipped with a compass with automatic tilt correction, a barometric pressure sensor, an altimeter, and a depth gauge. The watch can provide detailed navigation, including turn-by-turn instructions while following a route. Routes can be planned directly on the watch, in the Garmin Connect mobile app, or using popular apps like Mapy.cz. Precise positioning is ensured by a satellite receiver with support for GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO satellite systems and a multi-channel Multiband GPS receiver. Optimal satellite reception is managed by SatIQ technology, which can automatically switch between multiple satellite signal reception modes to optimise accuracy and save power. A very practical tool on the Garmin watch is the built-in LED torch with red and white light and adjustable intensity.

The long battery life of the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro watch allows for all-day wear without needing to take it off frequently for charging. The watch is therefore able to continuously measure and record daily and nightly health and activity data. This primarily includes values for heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen level, breathing rate, daily step count, floors climbed, and minutes of intense activity. From these measured metrics, the watch derives other functions and values, such as Body Battery, Stress Score, Heart Rate Variability Status, temperature and altitude acclimatisation status, and more. The smartwatch measures the length and quality of your sleep. In addition, it also measures individual sleep stages, short naps, and provides recommendations for achieving better quality sleep and recovery.
Smart features to make your daily life easier
Garmin Fenix 8 Pro can be connected to smartphones with both Android and iOS operating systems. On both platforms, the watch offers the ability to make Bluetooth calls directly from your wrist thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker (requires a compatible smartphone connected nearby). On both platforms, displaying notifications and incoming calls on the watch screen is a standard feature. If you own an Android phone, you can also reply to messages directly from the watch display. With the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro, you can also record short voice notes or use voice assistant services.
The smartwatch supports Garmin Pay and other functions
Popular features include Garmin Pay contactless payments, which let you add a digital copy of your regular payment card to the Fenix 8 Pro watch (if your card supports the feature) and then pay with the watch in a similar way to using a payment card. Another popular gadget is the built-in music player with support for offline listening from services like Spotify, Deezer, or Amazon Music. Simply connect wireless headphones to the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro via Bluetooth and listen to music even without your phone. For communication with a smartphone and for long-term storage of measured data, the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro watch uses the Garmin Connect mobile app, which is available for free download. The app and the user interface of the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro smartwatch are fully localised into English.

- Garmin Connect – a training diary and logger for data measured by the watch. It lets you plan workouts and routes, analyse measured data, and share records with friends.

- Garmin Golf – an app for golfers. It provides analysis and statistics of data that the watch can automatically record during a game.
- Garmin Dive – an app for divers. It lets you plan dives and stores and displays detailed records of completed dives.
- Garmin Messenger – a communication mobile app and an in-watch app that, for example, lets you reply to text messages from the watch even when using an iOS phone. The app also serves as a communication gateway when using Garmin InReach satellite communicators.
From 1 July 2026, TOPO Czech V5 PRO vouchers will no longer be included with newly delivered (dispatched) devices. This change is based on an internal decision by Garmin, which you can find here.
