Codix mechanical coding robot
The Kosmos Codix mechanical coding robot building set introduces children from 8 years old to the basics of programming through their very own buildable robot. Assemble more than 150 parts to create five different robot models, each with its own unique function. Codix can draw, grip objects, shoot basketball hoops, play football, or transport things like a forklift. You program its actions mechanically by inserting small pegs into the programming wheel. This means there is no need for a smartphone, tablet, or computer. A comic-book guide featuring the adventures of Izzy and Tim brings the world of robotics to life and explains the basics of programming.

Five models, five functions
Build five robot variants from a single set. Codix can transform into a drawing assistant, a gripping robot, a basketball player, a football player, or a small forklift. Each model presents a different task and a new way to use the assembled parts.
Programming with pegs
Program the robot by inserting small pegs into the programming wheel according to set patterns. By changing their layout, children alter the functions of the robot and test different command combinations. This lets them discover the basics of programming hands-on, without the need for a screen.
Comic-book story from the world of robotics
The manual featuring Izzy and Tim guides children through the assembly process and introduces them to the basics of programming. It also includes interesting facts about robots and explains how they work on the inside.
With Codix from Kosmos, children embark on five robotic missions and discover how a few well-placed pegs can change the behaviour of the machine.
