Nuna robotic hedgehog
The Kosmos Nuna robotic hedgehog building kit offers children from 8 years of age a fun introduction to the world of robotics through building their own robot. The 170 pieces come together to create a bionic hedgehog equipped with a sound sensor, motor and gears. It responds to claps according to the selected mode, and can walk, reverse, roll into a ball or raise its spines. Its glowing LED eyes signal the active mode. Building the robot using the detailed instructions shows children how sensors and mechanical components work, developing technical thinking and fine motor skills. The robot requires four 1.5V AAA/LR03 batteries, which are not included in the package.

Clap control
Nuna responds to sound thanks to a built-in acoustic sensor. Children trigger its reactions with a clap and watch the robot move according to the selected mode.
Robotic hedgehog movements
Nuna performs several different movements – it walks, reverses, rolls into a ball and raises its spines. Children can explore how the motor, gears and individual mechanical parts work together.
Building and learning about robotics
The robot comes together by gradually assembling, snapping and screwing the individual parts. The detailed instructions guide children through the assembly and help them understand the basic operating principles of sensors, motors and gears.
With the Nuna robotic hedgehog from Kosmos, children discover how a clap brings the robot to life and activates its unique hedgehog features.
