Ibalgin belongs to the group of so-called. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic drugs. It suppresses pain, reduces swelling and reduces inflammation in painful post-traumatic conditions, local manifestations of inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system and painful inflammation of veins.
Dosage and method of use
Unless otherwise instructed by a physician, adults, including older patients, and adolescents aged 12 years and older apply a 4-10 cm long strip of gel to the affected area 3-4 times a day at intervals of 3-4 hours, rubbing it lightly into the skin. Wash your hands after applying the gel, unless the areas to be treated are on your hands. If the injuries do not subside within 7 days, or if they worsen, or if the side effects of the medicine become apparent, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. Do not use for more than 2 weeks without consulting your doctor. For rheumatic and venous diseases, consult your doctor about the length of treatment with Ibalgin. Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, Ibalgin is usually used for 2 weeks for these conditions.
Contraindications
Read the package insert carefully. Do not use Ibalgin if you are allergic to ibuprofen (the active ingredient in Ibalgin), propylene glycol or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. The product should not be used in the third trimester of pregnancy. In the first and second trimesters of pregnancy and while breastfeeding, the product may only be used on the express recommendation of a physician if used for short periods and over small areas.

Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date marked on the packaging. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
