The original orange design, with an acceptable size, great capacity and high reliability, makes LaCies Rugged external hard drives one of the most popular storage devices. High performance and unbelievable durability make them the perfect device for all your travels.
The Rugged USB-C series external drives are available in three extremely large capacities. The smallest variant is 1TB, medium 2TB and the largest 4TB variant. Despite the large capacity, the disk dimensions are relatively small. Two smaller disks have the same dimensions and weight, but the 4TB variant is slightly larger and heavier.
A high-quality protective case made of rubber ensures high resistance to shocks and falls. The Rugged USB-C series can withstand a lot, for example, being run over by a single car. The drive is also waterproof so you do not have to worry about it in the rain. These properties and its attractive look make it ideal.
With the brand new USB C connector, you never get stuck because it's double-sided. Just plug in the drive, and you will also be able to transfer your data at lightning speed without having to install drivers.
With the supplied application, you can easily set up automatic data backup on your PC and Mac.
LaCie Private-Public software will ensure that your files are completely confidential.
Auto Eco mode reduces power consumption by up to 40% if the device is not used.
The Rescue Data Recovery service provides a recovery of lost data due to disk failure, virus attack, software problem, or any other cause that causes data to be lost. The customer is entitled to one free data recovery attempt for the duration of the service. However, LaCie does not guarantee that the lost data can be restored in all cases. The Rescue Data Recovery service is linked to the internal disk contained in the LaCie drive. Renewed data will then be stored by Seagate on a special storage device or cloud storage where it is available to customer for 60 days. More information here.
