The Hütermann full-featured precision handheld digital radiation meter can be used simultaneously as a personal or permanently placed radiation mini-alarm. It immediately informs you of an atomic bomb explosion, a nuclear power plant accident or any other event that increases radioactivity. You will be warned before the media knows it. In case (e.g. atomic bomb explosion or nuclear accident) of increased radiation, the instrument has a time-lapse function (it reads your radioactive exposure for you). Thanks to its small size and negligible weight, it can be permanently carried in any pocket or even as a key ring (the weight including the power battery is only about 33 g, that's the weight of about three coins). The instrument is battery powered, but can also be permanently connected to a USB power supply (power cord included) and thus serve anywhere for many years as a long-term continuous radiation monitor and alarm.

TFT display
The instrument is equipped with a high quality TFT display with large and brightly lit digits, Thus, (unlike conventional cheap liquid crystal displays) the radioactivity value is easily readable even in low light conditions, which, after an atomic explosion, would probablyat least somewhere, occurred and also in cellars or shelters, where you might take refuge and where the lighting might not work. Use in many cases
If you are buying a property or advising a friend, family member (or mother-in-law. ) when buying a property, you can avoid buying a property in a location where there is increased radioactivity due to both natural background and past human activity (or, alternatively, you can specifically look for such a property to buy). You can also measure both natural background and artificially elevated radioactivity, for example in the presence of certain minerals and minerals (e.g. it is a good idea to check private mineralogical collections in this way to be sure). You can avoid places with sharply increased radioactivity, such as even some parks in the Czech Republic, and you can measure radioactivity in your house or cottage.

You carry one device in your pocket (it is recommended to set the alarms in this device to a slightly higher value so that you do not disturb the surroundings if you happen to pass through a place with a stably higher radioactivity, such as in the park in Jáchymov or in Prague at places like Letná or Masaryk railway station).
You place one device on the wall in your bedroom at home and set the alarms in this device only 0.02 µSv/h higher than the natural background radiation in the bedroom (e.g. if it is 0.08 µSv/h, you set 0.10 µSv/h), because at home there is usually no reason for a sudden increase in radioactivity other than an atomic bomb explosion or a nuclear power plant accident)
You place one on the wall in every other room in the house where you frequent, so that in the event of an atomic bomb explosion or an accident at a nuclear power plant, you will be alerted immediately and can take shelter in the basement. The same applies to setting alarms in these devices as for setting alarms in the bedroom device.
You place one device in the hut. The alarm settings for this device are the same as those for the bedroom device.
Place one device in the car, preferably in such a way that it is shielded as little as possible by the bodywork (e.g. on the inside of a window, you can also place it on several windows opposite each other for the least shading). Setting alarms on these devices is the same as setting alarms on a device you carry.
