Fan and quiet operation
Active heat dissipation is handled by the 92mm NF-A9x14 PWM fan, which uses Self-stabilising Oil-pressure Bearing (SSO2) technology. The fan supports automatic speed control ranging from 600 to 2500RPM, which enables effective performance management based on the current processor temperature. At maximum load, it achieves an airflow of 57.43m³/h, while the maximum noise level does not exceed 23.6dB. For users who require even quieter operation, a Low-Noise Adaptor (LNA) is included in the package to reduce the maximum speed and noise level.
Construction and installation
The heatsink part of the cooler uses soldered joints between the heatpipes and aluminium fins, which guarantees long-term thermal transfer stability and prevents the joints from loosening due to thermal cycling. Reliable installation is ensured by the SecuFirm2 mounting system, which in this version is adapted for Intel platforms with LGA1150, 1151, 1155, 1156 and 1200 sockets. The package also includes NT-H1 thermal paste, which ensures minimal thermal resistance between the processor and the cooler's base.
