Properties of borosilicate glass
The tin is made from borosilicate glass, which contains no harmful substances like lead or cadmium. This material can handle a temperature range from -40°C to +300°C. You can safely put the tin in a preheated oven, whether it's electric, gas, or a fan oven. Likewise, you can let the finished bundt cake cool in it and then store it in the freezer. Borosilicate glass also releases heat slowly, which helps the batter to bake evenly. After use, the tin can be washed in the dishwasher.
