This set requires no installation, just screw a Philips Hue White light bulb into a standard socket and turn it on. The light can be instantly controlled with the Smart Hue Dimmer switch, which is battery-powered.
The Philips Hue Dimmer works on battery power and can be used as a classic switch on the wall. You can place it anywhere using screws or adhesive tape on the back plate of the switch.
The control unit of the Philips Hue Dimmer switch is magnetic so it can be removed from the base. Pick up the switch and use it as a remote control for a light. It has an indoor range of up to 12m.
Once you set up the Philips Hue Wireless Dimming Kit, it is simple to connect additional Philips Hue lights to the switch. Connect up to 10 Philips Hue lights and operate them simultaneously.
