Petzl SM'D screw-lock is a compact D-shaped carabiner. It offers high versatility of use, whether connecting a belay device, pulley or at the end of a loop. It is made of aluminium, which makes it very light. It stands out for its easy handling, even when wearing gloves, which all climbers will appreciate. This is made possible in particular by its D shape. The H-shaped cross-section reduces weight while maintaining strength, facilitating gripping and protecting the carabiner marking against damage or abrasion. The Petzl SM'D screw-lock is equipped with a Key Lock system to prevent accidental capture. Through a small hole under the latch, the TIBLOC or MICRO TRAIXON can be attached to the carabiner with a lanyard, thus avoiding possible loss.
