Roku Gin 0,7l 43%
Besides spirits connoisseurs, Suntory whisky is also well-known among film fans, as it was a bottle from this distillery that Bill Murray advertised in the silver screen classic Lost in Translation. In any case, Suntory has also been creating gin since 1936. A truly excellent gin. It's not for nothing that they say the Japanese can perfect anything from the West. This is the definition of perfection.
Ingredients
Roku means six in Japanese, which is why the base for this bottle is a set of six distinctly Japanese ingredients: sakura leaves and blossoms for spring, sencha and gyokuro tea leaves for summer, Sansho Japanese pepper for autumn, and yuzu for winter. And because it's still a gin, these atypical ingredients are complemented by a classic eight macerated botanicals: juniper, coriander, angelica root and seeds, cinnamon, and orange and lemon peel. The combination results in a wonderfully rich gin with a unique taste, all in a truly beautiful bottle.
