Its matte surface reduces glare and, along with blue light reduction technologies and automatic image adjustment, creates more comfortable conditions for reading, work, and entertainment. Smooth performance is handled by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, complemented by 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded by up to 2TB with a microSD card. The tablet also features a 10000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, four speakers, AI functions and multitasking tools. The set also includes the T-Pen 2 and a flip case.

The spacious 12.2" display with 2.4K resolution provides plenty of space for reading, watching films, working with documents, and multitasking. The 3:2 aspect ratio displays more vertical content, reducing the need for frequent scrolling. An adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz automatically adjusts to the content on screen, ensuring smooth motion while using energy efficiently.
NXTPAPER for more comfortable viewing
NXTPAPER technology uses the OmniSoft Light system, which makes the light's character closer to natural lighting. Hardware-level blue light reduction limits unwanted components in the 415–455nm band without giving the image a significant yellow tint. A multi-layer micro-nano structure ensures wide 85° light diffusion and high transmittance, so the image remains uniform and easy to read from different angles.
Matte surface with enhanced durability
The display is protected by Nano Crystal Shield Glass with a fine matte surface that reduces glare and distracting sparkling effects. The anti-reflective layer reduces surface reflectivity to below 1.5%, while a special treatment helps reduce fingerprints. At the same time, NDR technology increases the surface's scratch resistance by up to four times.
Smart image adjustment to your surroundings
The PureView Dimming function automatically adjusts the brightness and colour temperature according to the ambient light and time of day. The TCL TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER tablet can also recognise different usage scenarios and adapt the display for reading, work, or watching media. Additionally, the Personalized Eye Comfort Mode lets you fine-tune the colour rendering to your personal preferences.
Proactive Eye Comfort helps monitor usage habits
Built-in sensors monitor screen time, eye distance and ambient light. If the tablet detects prolonged use, a short viewing distance or unsuitable lighting conditions, it can display a notification. This feature helps create more comfortable conditions for extended work, reading or studying.
Three display modes with the NXTPAPER Key button
The dedicated NXTPAPER Key button lets you quickly switch between three modes. Standard Mode provides a full-colour display for general use, Colour Paper Mode creates a softer, coloured-paper-like look, and Ink Paper Mode offers a monochrome display suitable for focused reading, for example.

The TCL TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER tablet is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. Paired with fast LPDDR5 memory, it ensures smooth app performance, multitasking, streaming and general work. The 6GB RAM can be virtually expanded up to 10GB.
256GB storage with expansion option
The tablet comes with 256GB of internal storage for your apps, documents, photos and other content. You can expand the capacity by up to 2TB using a microSD memory card, so the tablet provides plenty of space even for a larger multimedia collection or work files.
Google Gemini and smart AI features
The integrated Google Gemini helps with finding information, writing text, generating images and other tasks. You can call up Gemini Overlay without leaving your current app, Gemini Live lets you have a natural voice conversation, and Gemini Extensions connect the assistant to supported Google services. There's also Circle to Search, which lets you circle an object or text on the screen to quickly find related information.
AI tools for notes, text and translations
The Smart Voice Memo function can display bilingual subtitles in real-time during meetings and lectures, and then create a transcript, summary or mind map. Writing Assist helps with creating text, while Text Assist lets you translate, rephrase or summarise content. Smart Translator supports text, image and spoken word translation, and Real-Time Subtitles creates captions for videos, audio recordings or online meetings. The Instant Access via Copy feature recognises copied data, such as phone numbers, addresses or URLs, and suggests a suitable app for the next action.
TCL Note for more efficient note-taking
The TCL Note app combines handwritten notes, drawings, text and voice recordings in a single environment. Combined with the T-Pen 2, it lets you comfortably jot down ideas, comment on documents or create simple sketches. AI tools help to further organise and process the content.
Multitasking and a clearer interface
The Quick Split-Screen function lets you split the screen between two apps, and Floating Window opens additional content in a floating window. Extend Mode and Mirror Mode expand your options for working with an additional screen. The interface is complemented by Magic Hub for quick content saving, Large Folders for clearer app organisation, and Sidebar for quick access to your favourite tools. When using the stylus, you can also write by hand directly into text fields and have the handwriting converted to digital format.

Four speakers with Sound Booster
The quad speakers create a more spatial sound when watching films, listening to music, gaming or on video calls. Sound Booster lets you increase the volume up to 200%, so dialogue and other content stand out better even in noisy environments.
Cameras for video calls and working with documents
The front 8MP camera is positioned to be suitable for video calls when using the tablet in landscape mode. The rear 8MP camera is useful for things like taking photos and digitising documents or for everyday snapshots.
