The Televés TV/R 519608 antenna splitter is used to split a television and CATV signal into eight separate branches for indoor distribution. It operates in the 5 to 1,220MHz frequency range with a through loss of 13dB and a return loss between outputs of more than 20dB. The device uses female F-type connectors and meets the technical requirements of the DOCSIS 3.1 standard. The Zamak alloy metal chassis provides a high level of Class A shielding, protecting the signal from external electromagnetic interference. This model does not transmit DC power and is European-made.
The Zamak alloy metal chassis dampens electromagnetic interference from the surrounding environment and protects the internal electronic circuits. This material exhibits high mechanical resistance while maintaining a low weight of 130g. The manufacturer has applied Class A shielding, which prevents degradation of the transmitted television signal in demanding conditions. The reliability of the design is based on robotic manufacturing using micro-components.
The device is intended for indoor installation and supports several different mounting methods depending on the cabinet layout. It can be attached directly to the wall with screws or placed on a rack panel using the nuts on the connectors. Using an adapter with reference number 519901, the splitter can be installed on a standard DIN rail. The longer thread of the F-connectors facilitates and secures fixation on a rack panel.
All input and output female F-connectors are located on one side of the metal chassis. This arrangement saves space in installation cabinets and simplifies cable management in registers. The F-connectors are angled at 10° from the installation wall, making it easier to screw in coaxial cables. The splitter's design also allows for cable runs to be routed through the free space behind it.
The optimised frequency response and balanced characteristics maintain a stable signal level on all eight outputs. The signal level at the end sockets is maintained even with extensive cable runs. The electronic components reduce the through loss to 13dB across the entire frequency spectrum from 5 to 1,220MHz and improve the overall electrical behaviour of the entire element.
Manufacturing takes place on fully robotic lines in Europe, giving each piece precise and stable parameters. The package and the body of the splitter include an integrated screw for the earth connection. The individual elements of the F-series are connected by a common screw for earthing the entire assembly. When chaining multiple elements side by side, it is sufficient to connect only one common earthing conductor.
