EasyGluco blood glucose test strips are intended for determining blood glucose levels. For use only with EasyGluco glucose meters. The measurement starts after inserting the strip into the glucose meter, provided there is a sufficiently large blood sample on the strip.
Measurement Procedure
- Special tools are used for blood sampling, so-called auto-lancets (lancing devices) and lancets, with which we obtain a suitably sized drop of blood.
- The drop of blood is applied to the test strip and inserted into the body of the glucose meter.
- After a certain time, the glucose meter will show the measured blood glucose value.
- Blood glucose measured on an empty stomach should not exceed 5.5 mmol/L; blood glucose measured at any time during the day, including after a meal, should be around 7.5 mmol/L. If significantly higher values are measured, it is necessary to visit a doctor.
Usage
The test strips are calibrated to display the equivalent of plasma glucose values for easier comparison with results obtained using laboratory methods.
When purchasing and unpacking new strips, it is necessary to calibrate your own glucose meter according to the enclosed instructions!
