The interior features a velvet lining and a protective ridge around the zip to prevent scratches to the chassis. The mechanical durability of the construction has been verified by repeated testing according to the MIL-STD-810H 516.8 military standard, involving drops onto a hard surface from a height of 1.2 metres at various angles.
